Tom Hardy and Tom Holland would both go on to play Spider-Man characters, despite being part of different franchises. Holland would play the Web-head himself in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Hardy would play Eddie Brock, as well as the voice of Venom, in Sony's Marvel Universe
