The character of "Bob" (played by Saverio Guerra) disappeared at the start of the sixth season. The character was initially said to "be on vacation" and never referred to again. Guerra left the show for good between the fifth and sixth seasons. No reason was ever made public for the actor's departure. Jorge Garcia came in as a permanent replacement.
