Over a year after the film's release, Emilia Clarke was announced to star in Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) which is a spin-off of Guerre stellari (1977) and sees Clarke starring as the film's main female protagonist Qi'Ra. Terminator Genisys (2015) was released the same year as Star Wars - Il risveglio della Forza (2015). In Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (2008) James Ellison (Richard T. Jones) calls John Connor "Luke Skywalker" when he tells Charley Dixon (Dean Winters) about Sarah killing Miles Dyson whom creates Skynet that begins Judgment Day which John will lead the human resistance against in the dark post apocalyptic future of 2029.
