Film had few changes done to the script from the original script of Sairat 2016.The characters of Ankit Bisht and Shridhar Watsar who play friends of Ishaan Khattar were given more screen time in second half.While in Sairat the couple were seen eloping directly to Hyderabad from their village.This film showed them eloping to Mumbai then Nagpur and finally Kolkatta.
