Just three days after opening to theatres, Super 30 is declared "tax-free" in the state of Bihar (by order of both Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister) starting 16 Jul 2019. This step is taken to encourage viewership of this film highlighting the importance of teachers and education in society, especially important as Bihar struggles with India's lowest literacy rate.
