Verna Felton, who played the voice of the Fairy Godmother in the film, also played Flora, one of the three good fairies, and possibly Queen Leah, Aurora's mother, in La bella addormentata nel bosco (1959). She also appeared in a wealth of many other Disney movies that includes Alice nel paese delle meraviglie (1951), Dumbo (1941), Il libro della giungla (1967), and Lilli e il vagabondo (1955).
