(at around 1h 50 mins) When Nightcrawler is teleporting Professor X away from Apocalypse, it briefly shows him moving through another dimension. This idea of Kurt passing through other dimensions has been mentioned in the comics before. In fact, the animated series X-Men: Evolution (2000), did an entire episode devoted to this idea called Shadow Dance, where Forge creates a device to slow Kurt's teleporting down so he can see in the other dimension.
