The entire cast of characters besides Billy, Jimmy, Marian, and Linda are all original ones from the film's writers, even the small-time gang leader of the "Mohawks" who is referred to as Bo Abobo is also not from the games, he was a loosely based on the arcade version's canon bosses Zack Abobo, Jick Abobo, and Mibobo (a Green Abobo in which inspired Bo's bulking mutant form), the Abobos played villainous roles in the game while Bo is depicted as more of a goon-for-hire turned superhero.
