When Mr. Kurtzmann (Sir Ian Holm) discovers the cowboy movie playing on the computer monitors in the Records Department, the accompanying music is "Flying Messenger" by Oliver Armstrong, the same music used during Sir Launcelot's attack on Swamp Castle in Monty Python e il Sacro Graal (1975), which Terry Gilliam co-wrote and co-directed.
