David Caruso's second starring role of 1995 after Il bacio della morte (1995). Both pictures were box-office disasters. Ironically, Caruso had left the highly successful New York Police Department (1993) to star in these films. His career never recovered and he almost quit acting until he was cast to lead the series CSI Miami (2002).
