Writer duo Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck and actor Anthony Mackie would later join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Boden and Fleck directing Captain Marvel (2019) and Mackie playing Sam Wilson/Falcon starting from Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014).
