Sally Field and Herbert Ross reunited on the film Soapdish (1991) two years later. Field almost passed on the project because of her difficulty working with Ross on this film. However Ross assured Field he took the job mostly to apologize for his behavior to her on the set of this film. Field then had a contract agreement made that if she had problems with Ross she could have him fired and replaced as executive producer. Both agreed to the contract and got along well enough to work together again on the film.
