As of this film, either Randy or a member of his family have appeared in all of the Scream films with exception of Scream 4 (2011). Randy himself appeared in the first three films (including his video cameo in Scream 3 (2000)), his sister Martha appears in Scream 3 (2000) and in this film, and his niece and nephew appear in this film.
