It is pointed by some fans that Sam might actually be Jane's son. There are some things that could lead to this conclusion, such as the newspaper article that stated the father abused her. Also, in her goodbye letter, their mother wrote that "Jane will be Sam's mother now, as it was meant to be". Plus, Jane can always be seen caring and sheltering Sam more than his brothers. However, this theory is not officially confirmed by anyone.
