This haunted house mini-cycle included the following movies: Poltergeist - Demoniache presenze (1982), Entity (1982), The House Where Evil Dwells (1982), The Demon Murder Case (1983), Non andate a dormire (1982), Amityville Possession (1982), Amityville III (1983) and Creepshow (1982) (segment "Father's Day"). Two of these movies starred Oliver Robbins: (Poltergeist - Demoniache presenze (1982) and Non andate a dormire (1982)). Three of them were about a suburban family of five: Poltergeist - Demoniache presenze (1982), Entity (1982) and Non andate a dormire (1982). Two of them were about families battling dead family members: Non andate a dormire (1982) and Creepshow (1982)'s "Father's Day", and Poltergeist - Demoniache presenze (1982) almost had that plotline. There has never been a year with more haunted house themed movies in movie history as this one.
