In 2019, an accident happened where a man driving behind a logging truck had a near-miss with death. The driver rear-ended the logging truck, and the logs were thrown through the windshield into the man's car. He had been bent down retrieving something, or he would have been impaled by the logs. Rescue workers had to cut through "30-40 logs" before they reached the man, but he had only minor injuries. The man's name was never released.
