Similarities to Blade Runner (1982). 1) Both main characters (Anderton and Deckard) are law enforcers with drug abuse issues (neuronin and alcohol). 2) They both live in overcrowded and rainy cities. 3) Both are instigated by other law enforcers (Witwer and Gaff). 4) The eyes play important roles in both plots. 5) At the film's climax, Anderton and Deckard face their enemies (Burgess and Batty), and both of the latter die in their own terms.
