Like their characters, Harvey Keitel and Elliott Gould are both Jewish. Warren Beatty and Ben Kingsley are not. Kingsley did go on to play other Jewish characters in Murderers Among Us: The Simon Wiesenthal Story (1989), Schindler's List (1993), and La storia di Anna Frank (2001).
