Four actors in the show have been on Mad Max franchise. Melissa Jaffer plays Utu-Noranti Pralatong starred as Keeper of the Seeds in Mad Max: Fury Road (2015). Hugh Keays-Byrne plays Grunchlk starred as Immortan Joe also on Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) and Toecutter on Interceptor (1979). While Jonathan Hardy who plays Rygel starred as Labatouche on Interceptor (1979) and Virginia Hey played the iconic Warrior Woman in The Road Warrior.
