Casting for such a tight-knit set of characters for this film with intense personal dynamics was the most crucial part of the pre-production process. "This film presented a unique casting challenge as an ensemble," said writer-director Marion Pilowsky. "And I wanted to find my Henry and Ronnie before I cast French Sophie and Australian Jeff."
