Sissy Spacek is now the third cast member and fourth company member overall from Carrie to work with director David Lynch. Her husband, Jack Fisk, was art director for Carrie, and also appeared in Eraserhead - La mente che cancella (1977). He was also Lynch's brother-in-law, when Lynch was married to his sister, Mary Fisk. Her on-screen mother, Piper Laurie, appeared on I segreti di Twin Peaks (1990). Priscilla Pointer appeared in Velluto blu (1986).
