The World Premiere of this movie was held on Thursday 9th July 1981 at the Hindley Cinemas in Hindley Street, Adelaide, South Australia. The event was attended by and held in the distinguished presence of the then state governor, His Excellency, the Governor of South Australia, Mr. K.D. Seaman O.B.E. K.St.J. The Gala Charity Premiere Benefit was held in aid of the Mitcham Auxiliary of the Crippled Children's Association of South Australia Incorporated. Dress was black tie or lounge suit and supper was held afterwards at the Grosvenor Hotel.
