Although many of the personality pavilions in "The Great Before" were designed to be abstract-looking, a few of them were deliberately given specific shapes by Pixar's animators. The Aloof Pavilion is shaped like a nose pointing up in the air, there's also a little icon of a person with their nose pointed up just above the entrance.
