Depiction of courtroom treatment of AIDS: At 1:26, the Bailiff swearing in Andrew Beckett is clearly wearing gloves. The Bailiff exits the courtroom, only to return, crossing between the witness and the Jury a minute later without gloves. This disparate treatment is made quite obvious in the closeup when the Bailiff swears in Mr. Wheeler at the 1:39 mark-no gloves and the Bailiff immediately returns to his table. The Bailiff is not shown swearing in the female witness with AIDS.
