Towards the end of the movie, when Kassie(Jennifer Anniston) and Wally(Jason Bateman) are reconciling in front of Wally's building, Kassie says she turned down Roland's proposal because, despite all of his qualities, "he's not you". This is very similar to the reason Ross(David Schwimmer) gives for choosing Rachel (Jennifer Anniston) over Julie(Lauren Tom) on the TV show "Friends" - "she's not Rachel".
