When Riggs is fighting Wah / Jet Li, Wah uses a scorpion kick to knock him down. One year later this would become the signature martial arts move of Trinity as first seen in Matrix (1999). Trinity actress Carrie-Anne Moss did not have the flexibility and strength to do this, so they used a fake leg. As seen clearly in Jet Li's performance, he could do this for real.
