The blue gown worn by Amanda Hale during the scene in which Mary and Charles Musgrove arrive at Camden Place in Bath is the same costume Abigail Thaw (Jane Osborne) wears at dinner in Vanity Fair (1998). The same costume was also previously worn by Polly Walker as Jane Fairfax in the film Emma (1996) during the wedding scene at the end, and by Tanya Samuel in The Regency House Party (2004).
