Although producer Roger Corman was originally to be involved with this film, he pulled out before production began. However, after it was completed, the film's producer, Erwin C. Dietrich, nevertheless advertised it in Europe as a Roger Corman film. The matter eventually wound up in court and Dietrich was ordered to stop advertising it as a Corman film when Corman had nothing to do with it. However, the "damage" was done, and to this day many European film historians mistakenly include this in Corman's filmographies.
