Co-writer of Terminator Genisys (2015), Laeta Kalogridis, has previously worked on James Cameron's Avatar (2009) as an executive producer and worked as writer for another acclaimed project of Cameron Alita - Angelo della battaglia (2019). As both are Sci-fi features closely and durable projects held by Cameron, Battle Angel was announced as a cyborg epic movie. Laeta Kalogridis worked on the TV-series Bionic Woman (2007) and is working as a writer for another sci-fi feature Altered Carbon (2018). The last one is set in the future and subjects the digital alteration of man and machine.
