Scott Rudin apparently wanted to give Danny Boyle, John Hodge and Andrew Macdonald $250,000 towards making any film they wanted, off the back of Piccoli omicidi tra amici (1994). Boyle dismissed the offer as 'ridiculous', adding, 'We haven't even met the guy.'
