Tom Cruise shared that when filming the motorcycle chase in Paris, the safety rig on his motorcycle was malfunctioning. The crew had a very small window in which they could get the shots they needed, so Cruise told Christopher McQuarrie, "My friend, we have got to shoot. You just put the camera out there and I will come around this corner as fast as this bike will possibly go."
