One significant element that propelled this film to realization [i.e. green-lit], said director Bill Bennett, was international sales company Beyond Film's enthusiasm for it. "Gary Hamilton [General Manager of Beyond Films] had always been interested in the project and I gave him the final script, within forty-eight hours they [Hamilton and managing director Mikael Borglund] made me an offer, and both were really instrumental in bringing other elements into place."
