The film won two awards at the Sitges Catalonian International Fantastic Film Festival in 1981 including the 'Prize of the International Critics' Jury' for the film's director David Hemming and the 'Medalla Sitges en Plata de Ley' Best Screenplay award for the film's screenwriter David Ambrose.
