To perform the "Misled" (aka "Pencil Through $100 Bill") illusion, Copperfield borrows a $100 bill from a member of the audience, and during the delivery he asks to keep the index finger pointed up toward the stage, so Copperfield touches it with his own index finger to be able to says: «E.T.», in reference to the movie poster
