Ray believes Evangeline to be a firefly, while Tiana says it's a burning ball of gas in the sky. This is referring to the conversation between Simba, Timon and Pumbaa, where Timon says "they're fireflies that got stuck up on that big bluish black thing" and Pumbaa says they are "balls of gas burning billions of miles away". Simba also says that they are the Great Kings of the Past and when Ray dies, a new star is born, supporting Simba's theory that stars represent the spirits of the dead.
