Space Dandy: There's Music in Darkness, Baby
One of the creatures exploring the River of Time near Dandy as he was trying to revert his friends Meow and QT to a live state is Mothra, who was caught in a tidal wave which reverted her to her larval stage, then an egg. The egg then disappeared into the wave after it was spat out by the river.
