Flounder appears in Maui's song, "Your Welcome". In a post-credit scene, Tamatoa breaks the fourth wall and asks the audience if they would help him if he was named Sebastian and had a Jamaican accent. The manner in which Te ka crawls towards Moana before she restores the heart, resembles the movements of Ursula when she crawls towards Ariel on the deck of the ship in the finale.
