I Griffin: No Giggity, No Doubt

The scene with the fireman eloping with his friend's bride sitting at the back of the bus as their faces go from happy to melancholy while a Simon and Garfunkel-esque song plays in the background is a parody of the famous ending of "The Graduate". In the film, Ben and Elaine escape from Elaine's forced wedding and elope on a transit bus. Initially excited, they quickly become melancholy as the pair realizes they're more in love with the idea of eloping than actually eloping. The Simon and Garfunkel song "The Sound of Silence" plays during the film's iconic ending.
