Kyle's tombstone shows CORP for Corporal (2 stripes w/ crossed rifles), which is an incorrect abbreviation in itself; the Marine Corps uses CPL. Furthermore, when we see him in Afghanistan, he is a Lance Corporal (1 stripe w/ crossed rifles), which USMC abbreviates: LCPL. They would never make this mistake on a grave marker.
