(at around 1h 40 mins) In the end, before the shot where Diane reaches the top of the stairs and the hallway starts to get longer, the original distance to the kids' bedroom door is obviously several doors down. When she reaches the kids' door and opens it and has to hang on, the background behind her shows a door right across the way instead of the original length of the hallway. So it looks like the kids' bedroom door was just across from another door.
