When Matthew Broderick's character tries to escape the babies in the Madison Square Garden elevator, the door starts to shut but a hatchling sticks its head between the doors at the last second. When Broderick pushes the head back out, the door continues to close. As a safety feature, elevator doors will always reopen if an object interferes with closing.
