As Larry yawns and walks to the door labeled "Gentlemen" (probably a restroom door) right before Larry sees the T-Rex come to life for the first time, the mat where the T-Rex is supposed to be (blurred and out of focus in the panning shot where Larry walks) is already empty before it cuts to Larry starring at it and then clearly showing the exhibit is empty.
