When searching the remains at Pearl Harbor, a character identifies his buddy by the Annapolis class ring.
But, that makes no sense, as every graduate of the United States Naval Academy would be wearing a class ring. The ring could certainly be used since Academy rings had initials on the inside and the year of graduation. Additionally Dog tags were not issued after WWI until the start of WWII. Since this was Pearl Harbor, WWII hadn't started for the US.
