When Rainey is preparing to leave his home for the inquest as he is talking to the committee; he holds the the crown of his hat with the left hand and it is facing up. But on the next cut; he is now holding the crown with his right hand and it is facing sideways. Then on the next cut after that he is back holding the crown with his left hand and it is facing up again.
