In the bar scene the night before the experiment takes place, David buys Pam a coke and himself a mug of beer. While sitting at the table, David picks up the mug of beer with his right hand on the barrel of the mug and takes a sip. In the next scene, hes putting the mug down and he has his hand on the handle instead of the barrel of the mug.
