When Ordell and Max go to his office at the end of the movie to see Jackie, Ordell has the gun in his hand when he first walks in. When he walks through the doorway towards Jackie, he clearly has nothing in his hands, but after Ray shoots him, he kicks the gun away from Ordell's hand.
