During the night club sequence, Ophélia's dance move with the fingers over the eyes has been mistaken as being in imitation of the characters in Pulp Fiction which would make it too early for them to have seen that movie. However the watusi, and the variation done by Batman known as the "batusi" in Batman, the dances done by the characters in Pulp Fiction, have existed since the 1960s.
