The flashback scene of the legend of the beast was supposed to take place twenty years earlier, which would be in 1942, yet the junkyard is loaded with more recent junk cars, including a 1960 Chevrolet El Camino, a 1966 Imperial, and a 1958 Edsel. In addition, the Police cars are 1952-54 Fords and the trailer the beast was supposed to be living in was a 1960's Aristocrat Lo-Liner.
