When Officer Croft is caught by Joe pouring alcohol into her coffee cup, she says to him "I know you're from the FAA. Please don'y fire me." Officer Croft is a US Customs Agent, which has nothing to do with the FAA. The FAA has no power over the US Customs Agency, although they could report her. Also, a Customs Agent would never simply surrender her keys and badge to a stranger, especially one who had just threatened her so she could keep her position.
