As the comets near Earth, they are hit with over 150 nuclear missiles. The Messiah at this point is in a close proximity course, traveling back to Earth just ahead of the comets. The Messiah should have experienced severe electromagnetic pulses being that close to so many nuclear detonations, if not being outright destroyed.
